We commemorated the 1956 Revolution with a short programme at the City Hall of Ottawa as well. The Hungarian flag was raised in front of the building by dr. Mária Vass-Salazar, Ambassador to Canada.

After nearly six years of service Monsignor Leo Frank celebrated his last holy mass at the Hungarian Catholic Church in Ottawa. At this occasion Dr. Mária Vass-Salazar honoured Monsignor Leo with the Hungarian Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit.
