3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m Hungarian Fried Dough Sale

6:30 p.m – 7:30 p.m. Piano Recital

The main performer of the evening is Abbey Sugars-Keen, who is preparing for her final Performer exam at the Toronto Royal Conservatory of Music, in August. Her program includes popular works by Bach, Schubert, Liszt, Chopin, Debussy and Bartók.
Two of Gábor Finta’s other students will also perform: Lukas Villeneuve plays Chopin waltzes, and Muntra Dadjoo plays the first movement of Haydn’s Sonata in D major and Chopin’s Mazurka in B flat major, in addition to the second movement of Mozart’s Piano Concerto in A major (K.V 488).

Admission is free and you can get a fried dough (“lángos”) before the concert. Pre-registration is not required, although we would be happy to get an idea of how many people intend to come. You can indicate your intention to the address of the Ottawa Hungarian Community Centre (ottawaimagyarhaz@gmail.com).
