Interactive, fun and amazing presentation – discussion about the life and loves of Ferenc Lehár, as well as a musical show in which frenetic songs are played.
Songs, sheet music and funny stories, parade atmosphere.
Born 150+1 years ago, he is the best-known and most-played Hungarian of all time, composer Ferenc Lehár.
In the midst of today’s value crisis, the so-called “light music” would be important to be taken seriously, or even more and more seriously, because one of the big challenges of the previous 200 years is the classical and pop music split. The operetta, this classic light music, (and within that Lehár) bridge, a golden bridge, to classical music that touches everyone. Lehár was more than a composer, he was a phenomenon. Not by chance his contemporaries wrote: that “musical theater has 3 genres: opera, operetta and Lehár”.
