Considering that it has been a long time since we celebrated New Year’s Eve at the Ottawa Hungarian Community Center, we would like to bring to your attention that this year, we are planning a New Year’s Eve, but with a twist: Celebrating the New Year’s Eve based on the Hungarian time zone, i.e. 6 p.m. Canadian time. Feri Bognár and József Horváth will provide dinner music. Immediately following dinner and toast, Gábor Steiner will give a monologue for your entertainment. In the meantime, the Hungarian New Year’s Eve program broadcast from Budapest could be watched on the big screen projection if so desired by those attending. Dancing music, Hungarian folk, tango, waltzes, polkas, etc., will be provided for the remainder of the evening by Feri Bognár and József Horváth.
After 9:00 p.m., a small meal of Wieners, Lentil Porridge and pastry will be available.
The bar will be open during the evening. All interested are welcome and must be registered by December 24.

Participation is by reservations only. Please make yours by 9 PM on Sunday, December 24th. The entrance fee for this event is $45 per person. The entrance fee must be paid at registration to ensure a reserved seat. Tickets for the advance purchase could be purchased through E-Transfer, Cash, or Check, which can be dropped in the OHCC mailbox or in person at the bar. Reservations successfully submitted through the web are confirmed by e-mail.
