About the Performers
The Belvárosi Betyárok group composes songs with humorous lyrics and twists, and plays primarily for children, but not without addressing their parents as well. Their musical style is acoustic folk, blues and rock and roll. The stories and heros of their songs are real. The group is inspired by the work of several renown artists and groups, such as the Kaláka Group, Sándor Weöres, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Paco De Lucia, István Csukás and Jutka Halász.
The members of the group are:
- László Váray – vocals, guitar, doromb
- Tamás Valastyán – cajon, percussions
