Commemorating the 1956 Revolution in a Nutshell
On the 22nd of October the Ottawa Hungarian Community Centre commemorated the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. The guests were greeted by president Dr.Tibor Lapohos. Dr. Bálint Ódor, Hungarian ambassador spoke about the significance of the revolution then veterans László Farkas and József Polgár shared some of their memories with the audience. The feature presentation was performed by Péter Lóránt Tóth, who appeared for the second time in Ottawa. We show a short excerpt of his performance.
