The following is written on the group’s website (in Hungarian):

“The Misztrál ensemble—recipients of the Kossuth Prize, the Ferenc Liszt Prize, and the Hungarian Heritage Award—was formed in 1997. This group, which sets poetry to music, possesses a distinctive “Misztrál sound” that audiences can experience both in concert and on numerous albums. Since 2002, they have organized the annual Regejáró Misztrál festival in Nagymaros; they are also behind the Regejáró Arts Clubs, where they perform monthly alongside fellow artists. The band members consciously embrace the musical diversity inspired by the wide range of poems they interpret… In addition to their numerous concerts touring the country, they have also performed abroad many times — from Transylvania to the United States.”
Current members of the ensemble:

László Heigl – double bass, bass guitar, keyboards
Miklós Heinczinger – flute, clarinet, jew’s harp, fiddle, bagpipe, vocals
Gábor Pusztai – percussion instruments
Máté Török – cello, guitar, mandolin, lute, tambura, vocals
