About the pupeteers:

MárkusZínház is a puppet theatre. Its artists participated in numerous international and domestic puppetry festivals over the past 30 years, receiving brilliant professional recognition. This is how they write about themselves:
“The fairy tale, as the guardian and lifeblood of Tradition, carries the universal knowledge about God, the world, religion, the man, and its soul. The fairy tale belongs to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or national borders. It is a communal experience that provides an opportunity for self-knowledge, strengthening identity, and acceptance. It affirms that everyone holds their destiny in their own hands. With courage and perseverance, all obstacles can be overcome. In today’s fast-paced and alienating world, we consider the message of fairy tales important. Our puppets convey this message with humor and style of play characteristic of our theater. In addition to fairy tale adaptations, we experiment with non-verbal performances, where the focus is on the story, presented with the formal language of music and puppetry.
Our theater considers the Hungarian intellectual heritage, tradition and the Hungarian language as its main pillars. In its repertoire, it primarily presents Hungarian folk tales and classics…”

About the Puppet-show:

The little prince Laci suddenly, in a fit of rage, wishes that his sisters would sink into the underworld. No matter how much he instantly regrets it, he has to go after the princesses. On his journey, he fights three dragons, but he can only win with the magic shirt and magic sword he received from the Snake Princess. This is how he finds his soulmate by the end of the story.
