A brief history of Hungarian radio broadcasts in Ottawa<\/h3>\n

Between 2002 and 2003, as a result of consistent lobbying and support of President Lajos Gy\u0151rffy and Secretary K\u00e1roly Dombi of OHCC, it became possible for a Hungarian-language program broadcast through the CHIN Ottawa’s Multicultural Radio Station.
\nStarting in June 2002, the CHIN radio network invited the managers of the OHCC, among other leaders of minority organizations, to participate in the CRTC hearings for the new multicultural broadcast in Ottawa, as a result of which the Hungarian Radio broadcast began in December 2003, led by \u00c9va Hadh\u00e1zy. In march 2004 K\u00e1roly Dombi joined the editing of the program. From 2006, the program was edited solely by K\u00e1roly Dombi, who held this role until the end of May 2015. In recognition of his successful work over more than 10 years, he was awarded<\/a> the Golden Cross of Merit of Hungary.
\nThe broadcast continued for a few more years with program editors appointed by the Management of OHCC.
